BEAUTIFUL MATERIALS FOR SAFE, CLEAN ENVIRONMENTS. The American Cancer Society has chosen Avonite Surfaces® Coastline 4310, for its beauty and performance in countertops for the redesigned Patient Service Center in Nashville, TN. The material will be used to help to create a more inviting atmosphere for cancer patients in the Salon room, where patients learn about products and techniques that help during their cancer treatment journey.
Aristech Surfaces and local distributor Dixie Plywood are donating the material to make the Nashville Salon a more welcoming place for its patients. “Feltus Hawkins Design shared the importance of high quality products; to that end, Avonite Surfaces® was selected for its aesthetic and performance qualities,” says JD Frattini, Sr. Director of Community Engagement for the American Cancer Society. “Further, we’ve learned the non-porous nature of Avonite inhibits the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms. We needed a surface that would be both aesthetically pleasing while offering our visitors a hygienic environment.”
